Paul Aydt

Paul has been with Spring City Aviation since 2009 and is available at Burlington on a full-time basis.  Paul has a wide variety of experience and enjoys his role as general manager of Spring City’s Burlington location.  He grew up in the Minneapolis area, went to college in Grand Forks, North Dakota then moved to the Milwaukee Area.  He graduated from the University of North Dakota’s pilot training program in 2008 with a minor in criminal justice and Milwaukee Area Technical College’s aircraft mechanic program in 2011.  He has a good understanding of weather from flying for the North Dakota Cloud Modification Project in 2007 seeding clouds in a hail suppression project.  He then worked for the University of North Dakota as an instructor and stage check pilot during and after college.  Paul holds his Airframe and Power Plant Ratings with his Inspection Authorization allowing him to perform all required aircraft maintenance.  Paul also holds his Airline Transport Pilot Certificate for multi-engine aircraft as well as his single engine Commercial Pilot certificates for Land & Sea. He is a Certified Flight Instructor for Airplane Single Engine Land & Sea, Airplane Multi-Engine Land and Instrument Airplane. Paul enjoys flying and instructing in tailwheel aircraft as well and has experience with most general aviation aircraft and their associated avionics packages.  He has over 5,500 hours of flight time and continues to enjoy all facets of aviation.  Paul is found at the Burlington Airport on a daily basis overseeing all operations, answering questions or concerns and making sure you are provided with an experience second to none.  He can be reached at (262) 342-5003 or by emailing Burlington@springcityaviation.com.
