Multi-Engine Rating
Brief Description: A rating that allows the pilot to fly an aircraft with more than one engine.
Basic Requirements (multi engine add-on):
- Hold at least a private pilot certificate.
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Hold at least a valid third-class medical certificate.
- No minimum hourly requirement for the add-on rating; however, our students generally require 10 to 15 hours of flight instruction.
- Pass a practical test. The details of the multi engine practical test will vary depending upon your certificate level (Private, Instrument or Commercial)
